How much does a Badger FTE actually add to the length of a barrel?

the brake front to back is 3.025 inches if that helps

I'd figure on 2". It might be just a hair more or less.

just measure it and it was roughly 1 1/2 inches of length onto the barrel

I get the same.

The brake is 3" long. When modifiying your barrel you need .6" of threads and a .9" long portion of your barrel turned down to accept the collar. If you do the math it all works out perfectly.

Thanks Guys, having never seen one mounted or unmounted I figured asking the question was the easiest way to find out.
