Barrel recommendations.

Looking for a barrel 23-24" barrel within the next 6-7 months. Gonna order now so I have it when I need it. Looking to fit a 308 Remington 700 SA. I shoot a lot in the 500-800 yard range. Want a heavy contour. Who can have it done in the next 6 months and not too expensive. Not looking to pay more than 600.00.

I think you could get any manufacturer within that time. My preference would be .. in no particular order... Hart, bartlein, rock, .. if going on a rem 700, send it out to LRI for the build

Check and see what bugholes.com has in stock. PCR has some short wait times right now. Also check out longrifles inc.

Both Kreiger and Bartlein have stock inventory at varying levels from time to time. I got one in three days. Try looking at what they have in stock. May get lucky.
