Suppressors BARREL THICKNESS

GOING TO BUY A NEW BARREL BY MY 77/22 AND THREAD IT TO 1/2X28 WONDERING HOW THICK THE BARREL HAS TO BE IN ORDER TO DO THIS??

I would say nothing less than .500 for sure. Somewhere between .520 and .540 would be better.

If it is tapered you may have to cut it a little shorter than 20" to achieve this.

Have seen them threaded just fine at 20" also though.

You want it to be at LEAST 0.550" so you have a proper shoulder.
