I am getting ready to send out my .308 and .22-250 bolt rifles to have the barrels threaded for suppressors. I am thinking about having them both threaded to the same pitch and using Area 419 Hellfire Universal Adapters on both rifles. Both the suppressor I have in jail right now and the TBAC that I am saving up for have Area 419 mounts for the adapter. I really don't need a brake on either rifle so my thought is the universal adapter with a thread protector for when I don't use the suppressor. Both rifles have Remington Varmint contour barrels. If I do them with the same thread pitch would you recommend the 5/8 x 24 or something different?
