Any barrel is affordable if you have the money.

Assuming you're talking about a match grade stainless barrel for a precision bolt gun, pretty much all of the major barrel blank makers seem to have settled in on about the same price point. So take your pick of Rock, Oby, Bartlien, Krieger, etc based on personal preference or what's in stock at the time. In the end your choice is likely to have very little overall impact in the level of success you have.

Im wanting a long range shooter that doesnt have a lot of recoil for my son... Im leaning towards a 6.5cm.. im starting with a remmy 700 6mm bdl. I want to get im into shooting in matches, and something with over the counter shells.

6.5creedmoor sounds perfect from the little you said. It's what I shoot/own. I buy/shoot factory Hornady 140 Amaxs.
