Barret ring cross bolt torque question.

I am a newbe and just setting up my rifle, this time myself.
The Nightforce guide recommends 68 inch pounds for the cross bolt.
Is this sufficient for a 50 cal. semi-auto.
Should I check the torque after every shooting day?

Yeah that torque is adequate for a .50 cal. I’ve found it best to simply torque to spec then witness mark with a paint pen so you can double check easily.

I use a silver Sharpie for witness marks for fasteners and other things that rotate.
