I'm buying one or the other but cannot decide which. Does anyone have first hand experience with them? Which is more accurate, or is that point negligable? I'm really looking for a comparison with some pros and cons.

Re: Barrett m95 or DTA HTI

I believe the only people with first hand knowledge of the HTI are the DTA folks as its not been released yet.

But.....with that said I'd go with the HTI myself.....more options with that system.

Re: Barrett m95 or DTA HTI

I saw it was available for pre order. I agree that there are more options and I was leaning toward DTA but I wanted to check and see if anyone had a great reason to go with the Barrett, ie. more accurate or etc.

Re: Barrett m95 or DTA HTI

Barrett has the advatange of being a proven platform and the bolt-action models are their most accurate rifles. That said, DTA has a proven track record of delivering accurate rifles and having .408 & .50BMG based cartridges to choose from in a single rifle is an advantage. But without any production rifles out there it makes it difficult compare beyond just feature differences.
