Bartlein Carbon barrels?

First off, shout out to Straight Jacket Armory. I have a rifle there that was going to be set up with a Proof carbon barrel. Last night Tristen sent out an email to all the customers stating Proof is having trouble filling orders due to Savage making a massive order as well as DoD contracts. They offered to replace the proof barrel with a bartlein carbon barrel at no extra cost to anyone who had ordered a proof.

Has anyone had any experience with these bartlein carbon barrels? Mines going to be 300PRC, was thinking 9 twist for the 225 eldm or 230 hybrid bit saw bartlein also has 8.5 and 8 twist in 30 cal.

Bartlein Carbon Wrapped Barrels

I just saw a facebook post by GA Precision about Bartlein offering carbon wrapped barrels. This should be very interesting....... Anyone else see this?
