base and ring question

Hi guys. Quick question I have a friend that wants to "build" up his first stick. He is on a budget and i was just curious what kind of 20moa base and decent set of rings he could get for $150 or under total. Personal experience a plus. Thanks!

I've been very pleased with EGW bases, for the money.

Hes setting up a rem 700 spsv and the scope he is planning on getting has a 1" tube.

I would recommend Weaver Tactical bases and TPS or Seekins rings.

I am currently running an egw 20moa base and weaver tactical rings on a ss10x and have had no problems.
