I will be receiving my Remington 700P MLR (338 Lapua) this week. I have a Leupold Mark 4 6.5X20 scope that I will move from my 700P (308) to it. I already have Mark 4 rings on the scope and planned on buying the Mark 4 base for the Rem LA to match up to the rings. With this base and scope will I have enough adjustment to get out pass 1000 yards?

Just make sure you get the Mark 4 20 MOA Scope Base and you should be GTG.

Also, make sure you tell them (leupold) what rifle the base is for. The 700p MLR in 338 Lapua has 8-40 base screws instead of the standard 6-48. I got a badger 30 moa for mine, but they had to open up the screw holes.
