Basic Leupold Scope operation

I have a VX-3 CDS. If the bullets are hitting above the bullseye on the target, which direction do you rotate the elevation knob? Left or Right to correct?

You might try reading the instructions for that scope.

I've never seen your scope. It's not marked on it somewhere? No arrow? Nothing?

You turn it to the right for UP---> counter clockwise. To lower your impact turn to the left or clockwise <----Down

Plus you'll have numbers on it something like this 3...2...1...0...15...14....

nah, you got it all wrong! up is clockwise! down is counter!

Push Left and Pull Right. (Push the turret away from you for left adjustments and pull the turret towards you for right adjustments.)
Pull Up and Push Down. (Pull the turret towards you to add elevations and push it away from you to subtract elevations.)

I would read the manual as some older Leupold scopes have reverse windage adjustments.
