Hello can someone guide me to how to remove my firing pin spring from my BAT 2 lug model SB short action. I do have the firing pin removal tool from Bruce and have removed it but now I need to remove the spring so I can send my parts out to be Black nitrided. I don't want to buy another tool just to remove my spring.

Dang Chad, I hate when that happens ;-)

Jackle1, Typically the cocking piece is held on with a pin. Occasionally the firing pin is threaded and there is a set screw to secure it. In the case of new Win and Sako there is a split ring and collar on the front.

I think your right there is a set screw there and I'll see if the pin is threaded when I remove it. Hopefully it's not under tension and goes Baddddding!! Lol!!
Thanks I'll try it.
