Gunsmithing Bbl length for 223AI.

I want to have a 223AI bbl made for my Encore rifle.
What length?
What twist for 75grn?
MGM will do the work and can mill a scope base to 20MOA for the bbl.

8 twist
21" or longer

I also vote for the 8 twist 22" thats what I built and don't go super heavy no need its a 223 for crying out loud. rem varmint is plenty heavy.

When I researched what barrel length to put on my 223AI I found many shooters saying that at 24" they were only getting 10-20fps more velocity than a 22" barrel. I am currently running a 20" barrel. I'm not sure of the velocity yet.

Sounds like 8 twist and 22" bbl is the norm.

Both of mine are 25". When its time for new tubes, Im goin 22".

I currently have 21" and 22" that I use. I had a 26, but didn't gain anything. I chopped that bitch to 22" quickly.
