Yes, I searched. BC is only two letters and won't work, but I sure thought I saw someone else post an inquiry about two months ago.
I have some now. My Dad was able to get 1 MOA out of a genuine NM Garand using GI brass and a slightly insane load of 4064 decades ago, but he used some slack time in a guard shack in the middle of the desert one weekend to sort them by 0.2 grains of weight. With the joys of electronics, I might do that too.
Anyway, it must be the thicker gilding metal jacket, but they are 1.29 inches long and weigh more like 174+ grains. SMKs are shorter total (more like 1.22 or 1.23, I don't remember) and have a shorter boat-tail, so I'm wondering if the M118s might have a slightly better BC after all...
I'd even try to calculate from anyone's velocity, altitude and come-ups if you have it.
Thanks!
