I feel like a little kid lol, i'm excited as hell. Can't wait to shoot it just i don't have any sights and the rings i ordered for the 2-7x36mm scope i have laying around were way too low. So i sit and wait patiently

. Still have to get a QD bipod mount, Ops. Inc. 12th model brake and collar, it's own lower, and a leupold mark 4. Here it is, on my BCM4 lower that i have for my 14.5, will be building a lower soon after i finish the upper. On a plus side i'm astounded by how light it is. I figured having a heavier barrel profile 12" of rail and 4 more inches of barrel would be a little heavier. Will have accuracy reports as soon as i can. Going to try and see if my friend will let you use his acog just for groups tomorrow.

Definitely the MK12s are awesome. Only downside is all the parts are honestly expensive. This upper will probably go without a scope for a while. Wish i had a MK 4 and other stuff laying around so it was ready to shoot.

Hopefully you'll get it all together soon. Be sure to let us know how it shoots when you do.

Definitely will be sure to review the accuracy. I've honestly only seen one review of BCM's MK12 upper. Needs to be more out there. I'm getting a grand for my sako that i'm selling. It's a weird situation because my father is one that is buying it from me. He said he wouldn't let me sell it, i guess he wants it. But that will fund the mk4. Hopefully we can slap my friends acog on there and see how it groups tomorrow. I got some privi partizan 69gr and 75gr BTHP, nothing special but i'm hoping they group lol. Cause i'll pay .50 cense per shell for brand new match ammunition.

    Thanks man.

My personal experience with the Prvi "match" ammo, in .223 and 308, has been anything but "match". Although in fairness, the .223 has faired slightly better than the 308.

I would secure actual match ammo for the future, IMO...

I would reload but i feel like walking around to pick up brass would suck. I've got DRS 68gr hollow points that i'm going to try out also. It's remanufactured Lake city brass but uses hodgen powder and match bullets. And in all fairness shoots sub MOA.

Re: BCM MK12 Mod 1 upper came in

Been looking at their MK12 MOD0 upper, and will likely get one after I recuperate from the GAP that I'm waiting on.

Well that and the Grendel I got shortly before Christmas, and the 7mm-08 I picked up a few weeks ago, and the Rem R-15 in 204 Ruger I got a couple of weeks ago.

Damn guns and their evil price tags!

Trust me i know what you mean. It's going to be a bitch trying to finish this upper and continue to build on my bolt action rifle also. But i have no doubt it will shoot. I was really fortunate and got he last mk12 mod 1 (KAS/RAS) in stock. I had been monitoring it for weeks.
