BDL 223

I have a friend who has a BDL 223. What is the twist rate, how old would the 223 to be a BDL, What is it worth?
I was thinking of picking it up. I think he was around 550. Good deal or not

Take a cleaning rod and measure the deepth for one turn/twist ....as for the WIW check like guns on gunbroker to estimate the value

12 twist. 550 is not terrible if it's in great shape. 450-500 would be better.

Well I got the Rem BDL 223. It was new in the box. I look around they don't make the BDL in a 223 anymore.
