Gunsmithing BDL magazine spring in an ADL

Will a BDL magazine spring fit into an ADL internal magazine and will it cause any problems.

Yep, the springs are the same

Negative-
The springs will interchange, but they are not the same.

The ADL spring bottom leg's tip is curled up aka ski/snowboard tip.

Thanks, in looking at the one that is in my rifle the spring is shaped like a letter "Z". The ones I have seen on the Brownells site listed as BDL magazine springs are shaped like the letter "M". The BDL design looks to me like it would provide more even tension on the follower. I need to replace the spring anyway and thought I would see if anyone had tried this and what the results were. No sense is breaking the wheel again if someone has already done so.
