I am looking at bedding a Savage 22mag in a Boyd's stock. If I buy the 17 version of this rifle, will it fit in the bedding? The 22mag doesn't use the stock itself to secure the mag, so if I had to open the stock up a bit for the weird rotary deal of the 17 I think I might be able to make it work.
