What do you use to remove bedding wax from rifle actions after bedding a rifle ?

Brake parts cleaner or pure acetone. I like 3M brake cleaner, it dries fast and works well.

Scalding hot water and Dawn dish soap is amazing and doesn't make your liver give you the finger.

Its funny how much stuff can be done with Dawn dish soap rather than dangerous chemicals. It works way better than flea shampoo also.

My liver gets enough abuse as it is!, and I'm thinking the hot water will also help release the modeling clay stuck in the cravases.

Just walk it over to the parts cleaner

So I split the difference , the reciever/barrel went into Dawn and scalding hot water this also removed some bedding material I did'nt account for ( my bad) and the floorplate and mag well were pretty tough so the brake cleaner finished the project, I'lljust have to skip a few Beers!

I have washed my hands with brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner multiple times every day for 50 years. Your burgers taste better when your hands smell like B-12.

Buff off excess, clean threads with acetone and qtip and go shoot. Rust preventive. Mine never make it for cerakote.
