Beetles in my crushed walnut

Hey, I bought a large box/bag of crushed walnut by Franford Arsenal. Inside the bag there are hundreds of dead tiny beetles. I didn’t think much about it until tonight (it’s been about 2 months since I bought the bag which is in my basement) when I’ve found a bunch of tiny beetles in our tub upstairs? They don’t look exactly the same, but darn close.

Has anyone had these beetles in their crushed walnut?

Sometimes you jaust have to work the bugs out of your reloading process I just couldn't help myself on this one

I left the bucket I sift into in the barn, about 1/2 full of cob media and no lid. Sometime over a couple weeks the cats decided it was a litter box. I was pouring it back in the tumbler and saw something fall in there that didn't look like it belonged. Fished it out by hand and figured out I was holding a cat turd. What's odd is those cats had never seen a litter box before.
