I'd recently heard that B&C will now inlet their stocks for the Surgeon and Badger Ordnance-type DBM systems if you ordered the stock through them. This got me pretty excited so I called them earlier today to enquire about the option and was informed by the CS Rep that it's not true. B&C will only inlet the Remington stocks for BDL and Remington DM set ups, a bummer for sure.

My brother just finished a Remington 700 223 Build.
He used CDI bottom Metal in an H&S Stock. We sent his stock in to CDI, and for I believe $60 they inlayed the stock for their bottom metal. You will need to call about pricing, as it is not listed on the web site.

On my last Build also a Remington 700 223 I used a B&C A2 stock and CDI bottom metal. My gunsmith inlayed it. For the $60 that CDI charges, and about a 2 week turn around, I recommend them, and so does my gunsmith.
