I just got my mediator and noticed the button is pretty sticky was yours like that too

Thanks @BLKWLFK9 ive been doing that. Put some oil on the friction area where the button release and blade ride but the button will still stick till right before it releases. I think it’s the tension that the blade spring it putting on the button because if I push the blade back into the grip the button is smoother. Might have to send it back.

Has anybody gotten a set of the kitchen knives yet? I keep telling myself I'm going to make a set, then 99 other projects wind up in front of it.

That sucks man. I went to Vegas and back a few years ago with a cheapo gas station knife clipped to my back pack the whole time. Got home and went.....oh.... 3 diffrent airports.

My oldest Benchmade just happens to be my prettiest. It's my "dress" knife, and I don't get all gussied up that often...

This gets the most carry. I used it on my last deployment in Iraq 04-06. Due to it's light weight, this is the one that get hauled around the house in my gym shorts pocket...

Meant to be some kind of scary weapon, I find the super easy one handed open/close of that big button, and having two edges, makes this the perfect utility knife.

Are there any first-hand comments about the Benchmade Mini Stimulus (3551) automatic? There's one sitting down at our local hardware/ranch supply store.

For the past 4-5 years, my EDC has been a Benchmade 470 Emissary AXIS-assisted opening and I've been quite pleased with it. (Before this was yet another Benchmade.)

The problem, if you will, is my arthritis that sometimes kicks up enough that I can't open the blade with one hand. So I thought I'd try another auto. The Stimulus appears to have a convenient safety, something I appreciate having had a couple very sharp autos open in my pocket.

A few of my favorite Benchmade's. The sheath- locking mechanism for the fixed blade is the best I have known, have it mounted with Safariland ELS quick disconnect system.
