hey guys,

I hope im not beating on a dead horse but I have tried to research using Hodgon Benchmark for 140g 260 rounds? I bought four pounds when the powder crisis began and switch from varget to benchmark for my 22-250 but since I have converted my 22-250 to a 260. I have yet to find any more 4350 and I used my last half a pound for my 30-06 for preperation for elk season in October since I dont know when i will be able to find 4350 for a decent price. If you have tried using benchmark let me know how it worked or did not work thanks for the help.

RanchhandTCR,

I'm thinking Benchmark is a little too fast for the .260 with 140 class bullets. I'm usually on the other end of that spectrum and that is H4831 or thereabouts. If you have any RE-19 or RE-22 you might give those a shot.

4831 is better suited to 260 than benchmark, but the benchmark will work if its all you've got...not nearly as well as 4350, but hey...you do what you've got to do in bad times.
