I've got a r700 in .300wm. It lives in a KRG whiskey 3. I have two savage branded .300 wm 5 round mags. One feeds flawlessly. The other one the bolt picks up the cartridge head and runs forward .25 inch then the bullet nose hits the feed ramp and the cartridge stops and the bolt rides over the cartridge. Would opening up the front of the feed ramps help to start the bullet further up the feed ramp?
