I've been looking to by a Benelli M2 field for a little while. The average price I've been finding for one with a Comfortech stock is around $1,200. I saw an M2 on clearance yesterday at the local store for $719 with a plain synthetic stock. Is it worth paying the full price for the Cofortech stock? Can anyone tell me where to get a deal on one?

Thanks

Re: Benelli M2 with Comfortech

With Having 2 Benellis (1 ComforTech and 1 without Cmfortech), I would not pay the extra $$$ for the cushioning. It doesnt seem to make much difference to me. Plus, $500 buys a lot of ammo or training.

Re: Benelli M2 with Comfortech

While the ComforTech stocks are nice and worth a slight premium...they are NOWHERE NEAR $500 nice, nor would I pay that much if I can get a standard model for $719 which is a damn good deal!!

Take the money you save and put it towards ammo, a shell carrier, 922r compliance parts (depending on how you want to set the shotgun up), etc. Also, I'd buy the cheaper model if for no other reason than to install a Mesa Tactical Urbino stock on it (again...along with enough US parts to get to the proper compliance level)!

Re: Benelli M2 with Comfortech

I've heard that if you weren't going to buy a M2 with the comfortech stock, buy a used M1S90. $719 does sound like a good deal for an M2 American I assume. Also, you can buy a comfortech stock from Benelli for $540 list so if you decide down the road you want the stock you wouldn't pay much more, if any, than if you would have bought it to begin with.

With that being said, I prefer my 21" M2 field with comfortech over my father's M1S90.
