first post and I’m excited to be on this forum! I am very interested in the new B 14 action. This is what I know, that the footprint is of the Remington 700. The triggers can be swapped with the regular Remington 700 type triggers. The scope mounts are also the same. What I cannot find is what is the barrel thread pitch of the new B 14 action. Is it the same as the Remington 700 add 16 TPI? What is the breach barrel profile look like, is it flat like a savage or is it coned like the Remington 700? Can one use the quick switch barrel not method to attach a new barrel. To me and from everything that I’ve seen the B 14 action is a very good, quality alternative to the Remington 700 that will fit just about every aftermarket chassis. Looking forward to increasing my knowledge base and I’m very excited to be a part of this community.
