Bergara B14 HMR issue when installing m4-72 with accuwashers

Alright, I'm stumped. I've got a Bergara B14 HMR and I'm installing my M4-72 with the Precision Armament accu-washer system. When I use the biggest washer the brake is perfect when it's hand tight. When I torque it down any more it's too far by about 3 degrees.

Then I used the smallest washer (360) and it's early by about 10 degrees. When I torque it on the max I can get is about 5 degrees before the perfect 12 o'clock position. I just do not see how it's possible to get it any further on while using 20-30 foot pounds of torque. Any more and I will need a vice.

So... I can try a crush washer or I can maybe use loctite and keep it hand tight.

What do you think?

They say you shouldnt have to use more than one.

So I'm currently sanding the smallest one down until its perfect. Will take some time. I think that's a better option than hand tightening with loctite.

Then get a different brand of shim 'cause that's how you fix your situation.

On PA's suggestion, I sanded the smallest washer and everything looks good now.
