Bergara B14r and Silencerco Spectre II — barrel adapter?

There is a small gap between the suppressor and the barrel when it is screwed into place. Thought I remember hearing something about a spacer needed for this?

.22lr barrels are generally threaded longer than center-fire, and rim-fire specific suppressors generally have longer threads.
