Has anyone on here used a Preferred barrel blanks barrel on there rifle if so how did it shoot I'm looking gnat picking up a shouldered pre fit from them in the near future but cant seem to find any reviews on them.

I’m sorry I meant to specify, it’s for a bergara. I know they’re different from remage, and there’s only a couple companies claiming to do prefits for them, but haven’t really found any reviews of the install or accuracy with them.Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

My understanding from @Deep South Tactical was that they hadn’t seen enough consistency in the Bergara actions (B14 HMR specifically, I think) to allow for prefits. Tagging them so they can provide first-hand perspective.
I don't know that I would trust a shouldered one, but I'd run a barrel nut any day.
I do like my AI's, so the need to keep headspace nice and tight and adjustable in my garage is what drives my thoughts there.
We have done a lot of the Bergara shouldered barrels. For us to feel comfortable about sending out a prefit for one we decided to do the barrel nut. Thanks David.
Got any quick thoughts , or your personal opinion as to the Bergara b14 actions, just in general?
Great actions. I personally have one I play with. Every one we have barreled has been a hammer.Mine is shouldered. Back to the reason we chose a barrel nut design for our prefits. Im not saying they are so bad out you couldn’t go shouldered for a prefit. I’m just really ocd (I can’t help it lol)about everything that leaves this shop. With the nut there is no doubt you will be within headspace. Thanks David.
