Title pretty much sums it up. Looking to build a budget oriented do all rifle for PRS and general plinking. I don't think I want to step up to a full on chassis setup like the XLR Element for budget and I kind of like the looks of a more traditional stock. The HMR and Bravo both seem like reasonable options at a fair price. Other stock options need bottom metal and don't have the adjustable pull and cheek piece at similar price points, which I think I want (need?). If I am being vain, I think the Bravo is the better looking of the two and i like the idea of the various accessories and upgrades. It does look a bit on the flimsy side compared to the HMR, but I haven't seen any complaints in threads on them.

Thanks
Ben

Well, can't get a better response than that! I wouldn't have guessed someone to have used both on the same gun. Glad to hear the Bravo is a solid unit. I think the decision is easy now. I just need to stop combing the PE looking for things I shouldn't convince myself to upspend on...

The HMR stock is a great piece, but I think it’s more designed for a hunting, or beginning competition stock. Many that I know end up switching to something along the line of the Bravo. Another option to take a gander at is the Oryx chassis.
