Bergara mountain or seeking havak?

Looking for a longish range hunting rig in 300win for right around $2k. Looking at either the seekins havak or Bergara mountain. I am also open to other options. And go. Thanks

personally i would buy the Seekins, after reading about the bolt handles snapping on the Bergara

That was the B14 receiver, which uses a brazed bolt handle like the R700. The mountain rifle being referred to by OP uses a Premier receiver with a one piece bolt.

Personally I would also go with the Havak but the mountain is a pound lighter. Depends on how far you're carrying it.

I would go with a havak if you could get a 40% off coupon for a hundred bucks or so in the part exchange. That would make the savings substantial.
