I shoot them with 44.3 grains of varget and they are shooting really good. 2740 fps out of a 28" 1:11.25 twist Bartlein

They are expensive but they work well for me. I'm loading them with 4064 and like the performance compared to SMK's. Next step is trying additional load development with xbr 8208.

.020 only because I have a chamber optimized for 175's. Prior to the rework, i jumped them over .050 in a typical long-throated rem700 and found they also performed well.

I bought them thinking they would be close to the SMK 175 which is what my barrel is chambered to. With a SMK 175 my OAL is 2820 touching the lands, with the Berger 175 OTM 2900 is touching the lands.

My feel is you're going to like them - run them at 2810 at 2600-2650 FPS ...

They have a sleeker nose. I load mine to 2.810", .120" off, and they shoot great. They don't need to be close to the lands.
