Anyone out there running the new Berger 230 Tactical OTM's in their win mag. I found some data on 300 WSM, but nothing with the Win Mag. I was gonna cook up some loads for a ladder with H1000 and Win brass. Suggestions?

look about 4/5ths of the way down, SWRichmond has some load data for the 230's.

SOCAL if you use the 230 OTM and H1000 with a magnum primer you should be able to find a good load right around 73.0 grains with the bullet seated close to the lands. I use it in Rem brass right now, but it works in Win brass as well.

71.5 gr. H-1000 / 230 Berger OTM / New Norma brass full length sized / Federal 215M primer / .030" out of the lands / 3 shot group @ 100 yards = .070"

Shot a few today @ 72.0 gr H1000, 73.0, 73.2, and 73.4. Primers starting to shine a bit at 73.2gr. Ambient around 75 Deg F. Single 5 shot groups (3 shots for 73.4gr), but groups all between 0.500" and 0.700" (prone, Atlas bipod, brick bag rear). Groups started climbing at 100 yards from 73.0 to 73.2 grains. 300 Win Mag., 230 Berger OTM, Winchester brass, Fed 215M, jumping about 0.005".
I've got some new Norma brass that I haven't started using yet but I've weighed a few and they're more than 10% lighter than the Win brass. More room for powder!
