The quicksand is simply a sandstorm with a QD mounting system instead of the thread-on system of the sandstorm.

I'm running a YHM 7.62 on my .300WM.
I have a 26 barrel REM700.
Works good, quiet, nice tone, masssive recoil reduction.
It is heavy, I'm not running with it.
Built like a tank.
YHM claims their 7.62 is rated to .300RUM

its been about a month since you posted this... any updates on a Tigershark QD? I would be very interested in one.

im torn between the thunderbeast and the sas...

Anyone have hands on experience with both of them?

Guy has them listed and I hear nothing but good things bout them both...but the sas is a bit cheaper than the 30p1...
