Rifle Scopes Best AR optic for the $ 1-8, 1-10, or 2.5-10

Looking for a good new or used like new AR optic. I want it to have a 30mm-35mm tube and be atleast 8x.
I'll use it on my JP side charger for spotlight hunting etc.

I've looked at the NF 2.5-10, IOR 1-8 and 1-10 models, Vortex PST, .

What else is out there?? Which of the choices would be best for the money.

Will the better glass of a IOR really be noticeable on a low power optic??

Like to stay $1800 or less and really prefer less.

I know this will be out of your price point, but USO's SN8(1-8) is a solid optic and day visible red do on a true 1X. I got a chance to oogle one at K&M the other week and was greatly impressed. That being said I currently have a USO SN3 1.8-10 on my mk12 and its a great optic for shooting the 77's out to 700yds.

I would try the new Nightforce 2.5-10 with the 42mm objective, that's going to be my next scope for my Noveske.

I run the March 1-10X on my long range AR. It is probably one of the smallest and lightest of the bunch.

Another vote for the Nightforce 2.5-10. I ran on on my LMT till I upgraded to a SB and it was a slick scope. Did a great job out to 700.

For night time hunting you'd be hard pressed to beat the Trijicon's with 56mm objective:

March tac.1-8 FFP, 3-24 FFP and 2.5-25 SFP

I have been using USO 1.8-10 and many NF 2.5-10 x 24's. All worked fine. I am now trying the March and it might serve my needs better than the others. I do really like it. JMO

The USO 1-8 is an outstanding optic. I have one on my JP LRP07 and it is an awesome combination.
