Best bang for the buck trigger for Remington 700

I run a Calvin Elite, but if we are talking "best bang for the buck" I would say a tuned early model factory Rem trigger is fine. You can find them on the secondary market for about $40 and tune yourself, if competent, or have a smith tune it for a small labor fee. Maybe $90-100 total cost. Just my thoughts...

Shilen, non-stainless. They are very nice, I had one on a 6.5CM and had no complaints (I've owned Jewel as well). Not sure of the details but a couple of people have warned me away from the stainless models.
