Call Garmin. Ask about mil discount. I’ve also seen on govx but that can be a PITA sometimes.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm leaning towards the Govx route (good price). Can anyone state why it might be problematic? Is it just getting an account(I already have one), or is there some other issue (like delayed shipping, waiting list or something else)?

Yeah sometimes shipping can take a while. But I’ve only had thahppen like twice and I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff from there.

If you don't mind waiting, watch on ebay for 15% or 20% off any item. They ran that a few times over the last several months. They usually cap the max discount at $100.
