Best group of your life

This is not indicative of my overall skill or the rifle on an average day. Although, I've never shot this load again for groups. Was looking for a hunting load and found it. Shot a couple more one time just to check zero and they disappeared into one hole. So maybe i need to spend more time with this load..... That hole above the paster is a .223 bullet.

22" 6.5CM bartlein barrel @ 100 yards.

And then i did it again a little while back with 130gr bergers. I just really wish i could shoot like that all the time.

This is my 'best group ever'... shot this past weekend at the Desert Mid-Winter Championship in Phoenix, AZ.

Also my first '10x' in any registered match, this was the first 10 rnds in the timed fire .45 match in the 2700. The scorer called a RO because he could only see 9 hits... after one look the RO shook my hand, and told my scorer to, "give it to him."

Three shots 100 yards and after that I didn't dare shoot another

This freak of nature was shot after 30 minutes of misses trying the get the wind right. The sun was behind the mountains and the wind dropped off.
I finally manage to score a hit on the 18x18 plate and decided to send two more.
Utah high desert, 185 Berger BTLR(pre Juggernaut name) 42.? IMR 4064 Lapua brass. Lilja 1/10 chambered by Mark King.
I doubt I will ever duplicate it or be so lucky.

Added to show I'm not cropping anything out.

After measuring... Dan (the smith) is quite the builder, and I love the fact he is local so we are able to get together frequently to talk guns..

I'll play.

1910 Swedish Mauser, as issued, factory iron sights, 100 yards.
44.0 IMR4350 123gn A-Max

Funny you posted this MoBoost. I had a 1942 Sweed M 6.5X55, loved the 4350. Damn that target looks familiar.:) I actually regretted having the bolt and safety work done for optics. Wish I left it alone.

As far as a hunting rifle goes, which I usually take just 3 shots this group with my Model 70 is the best I've done out to 300yds, sent the original group to Hornady but they only put 5 shot groups in their catalog, so.......

My best group from a factory rifle was a 700 police in .223 with 69 smk 25.5 grains of rl15 rem 71/2 primer 200 yards 5 shot group was .382 measured outside to outside been using the same load for years trying to beat it with the same rifle and can't seem to get there. Shot a bunch around .4 but just can't seem to get under the magic .4 I shot the .382 while trying to get a average group size firing 6 groups 5 rounds each that day and averaged at .732 and have tried to beat that average and always get stuck around .85 I guess somedays the stars are aligned
