Best host for Rugged Obsidian 9?

I have a Rugged Obsidian 9 in jail currently.
I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 I could buy a threaded barrel for or could do the same for a Beretta APX I have.
Which one would I best suited to drop a threaded barrel in?

No experience with the APX.

I can verify that a Glock 19 Gen 5 + Obsidian 9 works great.
