I have a dedicated 22lr upper for my AR-15 SBR using the CMMG 4.5" barrel and bolt. From what I understand the CMMG and Black Dog Machine mags will both function. Any other mags worth looking at? Any particular mags to avoid? I'm looking for magazines with 20-30 round capacity.

No problems using Black Dog Machine mags in a Bushmaster lower and a Tactical Solutions Kestrel upper
I went with the S&W .22 mags due to them being cheap, easier to load, and reliable.

Sonic weld 25 round magazines. All though I find they function the best with 22 or 23 rounds loaded. Last 1 or 2 really have to push down. Also have the McFadden lightnin' grip loader, it's awesome

I ended up going with the 25 round 2A mags since they had them at the same place I was ordering some 300blk pmags from. The have the black dog machine logo on one side and the 2A logo on the other side. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I'm very impressed with the initial fit and finish and they hold the bolt open on the last round.
