Best magnum primer for 300 WM?

I've only used Federal Gold Match 215m to this point. Wondering if anyone can share other experiences with CCI, Remington, Winchester primers (or others I may be missing).

What works best?

I use 215Ms in my 7RM and 338LM and I sleep better at night. I've also used CCI 250s and Winnie LRM primers, to good effect. Can't say which is better, or which is more accurate.

I think I even have some standard Rem 9.5s here, but no magnums. I think that the Winnies are pretty hot and have a long spark, IIRC.

Be all you can be and try some of the others out. Only one way to know for sure and that's to get down and dirty. Most places will sell you a sleeve, or ask around...maybe your buddies have some to lend/trade you?

Sort of depends upon your powders. In my limited experience, the Feds work well with 215's and the WW powders work best with the Winny powders. JMHO
