So I have an MSR-10 and I am underwhelmed with the performance of the supplied MagPul Gen 3 mag. What is the best of the best? Too small of an investment not to have the best.

Well, When trying to load a mag on the bench it just doesn't seem to lock home (it does snap into place) and the BCG slides over the round without picking it up. Maybe I just need push harder?
just the supplied 10 rounder. I'll take it apart and see what i can see. I really may be being to gentle with it.
The 10 rounder was a bit balky going back together and the spring was sticky. I'll clean it up and see if it behaves better. Thank you for the insights!
Gave the mag a good scrubbing with PGA and it seems to be acting better! I'll test it next weekend!
Push it in until you think it is seated then pull on it to make sure it is.
In my LMT MWS I've had an issue with pushing the mag too far up into the magwell and getting the first round hung up when charging it. So now I am less forceful and push in and pull it down to make sure it is properly seated and locked.
