He seems to be a good man to go to, he could do himself a big favour if he stopped constantly promoting himself on here though.

Kampfeld custom did a barrel cut and thread for me, Hooperordnance is doing another one for me right now, and I would be happy to have STR, GAP, Longrifles Inc., or any of the reputable gunsmiths here do the job. Barrel threading isn't rocket science, and neither is cutting a crown. Ship it out.

I do that combo all the time. Thread and knob.

no charge to cut and recrown

AZPrecision did a great job on my custom bolt handle and would not think twice of have them do the barrel work you needed.
