What powder when loading a 223 or 308 do you use that gives the most consistent charge drop in a automatic press?

And how much variance plus-minus do you have?

The best powders for progressive reloading throwing consistant charges will be your ball/spherical powders. When looking to choose a powder, research which one's are spherical/ball. Another great new powder is IMR 8208. This is a small extruded powder that is temp insensitive, and is what I am about to start testing for my 77 grain SMK AR-15 load. It is small enough to meter well through a progressive. I also like TAC and Xterminator powders. They are spherical, and meter like water. The other powders mentioned above will also work well. I never had any good results with BLC-2, but others have.
