i may be in the market for an Eotech system for shooting carbine matches, 10yrds - 100. Who has the best pricing or do they have MAP pricing like Nightforce?

Since you indicated that you "may" be in the market for an Eotech, then maybe you are open to alternatives. May I suggest the below great package deal. I did a lot of research and ended up with this Aimpoint M2 kit.

Very nice set up, I'm not limited to Eotech, I'm open to any and all suggestions. I have a Nightforce 2.5-10X32 on my SPR and thought a dot or halo sight might be better for close in moving target re: swinging targets.

A red-dot might not be so ideal for close in stuff. I prefer using EOtech's when I know I'll be doing stuff like that. But a red-dot is ideal for pretty much everything else out to about 500 yds.
Anyway to answer your question, aimsurplus.com used to run a pretty good deal on the 512.
