Been looking at S@B and can’t decided on what reticle they offer would be the best for longer distance? Is the pl4f good for longer distance? This will be on a 300 Norma and will primarily just be banging steel. Also looked at the vortex razor ebr 2c how does it stack up with the S@B?

The Christmas tree type reticles like the Kahles SKMR3, AMR, Vortex EBR2C, EBR7B, Minox MR4 and even some of the the Horus types are very popular with what you're trying to do. It comes down to what scope features you prefer but there's some great options in the $2,500-3,000 range. Feel free to call us at 916.670.1103 if you'd like some assistance.

I am not one for a lot of clutter in a scope, but I really like a reticle with good wind holds. I dial for elevation, hold for wind.

In a S&B, I love the H2CMR. I have 2 of them. Although I am saving pennies for a S&B w. the new LRR-MIL reticle.
But....my favorite reticle I have ever owned in the Kahles K624i SKMR reticle.

Both have .2MIL wind hold subtensions, but that .036MIL tiny center dot in the SKMR is freaking awesome for tiny targets.

I also have a couple Gen 2XR reticles which are good too. Nice and fine, but "only" have .5MIL subtensions.
