Looking to buy a scope cover/muzzle protector. Which is the best? Eberlestock, Triad, Eagle? Needs to fit my NXS 5.5-22 X 56 on extra high rings, & a 28" brl with Muscle Brake.

I use a Kydex slip on muzzle cover that I made. it's tied to my bipod with para cord. had it on my rifle sittin in the rack at the shop, people asked what it was....I spent next two days making damned muzzle protectors. very easy to make if you have some scrap Kydex laying around.

P.S. I use an eagle scoped cover and HSRC has muzzle protector built in. I have not used the other but Have only heard good things about them. Never spoke to a guy named Ceylon(?) but I understand he is the "guy" for eberlstock. You might want to message him. Out.

Triad does build some good ones, GRT does also but Nick is busy as can be these days so Triad may be your best bet.

Not sure who made my padded scope cover. It is a handed down prototype from one of the big companies that's not labeled.
It has a small pocket on the outside of the cover that perfectly fits my USO scope adjustment tools. It's super convenient and I would look for a scope cover that incorporated one of these pockets if in the market for a new one.

Eagle use to make a cover with a 3"x3" (aprox) pocket on one side. They still will if you want to order the minimum of 25 in one color....

The Eagle HSC has the pocket. I had the camo ties cut off and the muzzle protector cut down on mine:
Some shops still have them in stock, I got mine from SKD Tactical. I like Triad's new cover, just way too long for what I need. My scope's only like 13 inches long, the Eagle is too long also, unless I decide to screw on the 2" sunshade/ARD. I'm starting to look for something shorter, have to see what I can find...
