Gunsmithing Best step by step guide for bedding R700?

Like to revive this thread. Looking for information on the same topic, but with a qualifier.
I am am more mechanically inclined than most, have attention to detail (read as OCD), but am working in the basement, have never done anything like this, and don't have access to anything more than a Dremel in terms of power tools. No mill or lathe. In my estimation that is not DIY. Is this realistic, or am I whistling. If it's realistic, I have researched this online lots of places and can't really find any consensus on methods. Everyone seems to do it different. References to being a French model come to mind about getting info off the internet. But still, I consider this a reputable forum and would seriously listen to what you guys have to say.

Let me add, I am most looking for ways to fill areas of the stock I don't want bedding(mag well, trigger assembly,etc) and how to hold the action and barrel to stock (bands, gunsmith screws, etc)
