Gunsmithing Best trigger pull gauge that you have found?

Re: Best trigger pull gauge that you have found?

"Best" is a relative term.

My best one for the Olympic/International smallbore, 10 meter precision air, bench rest, 300meter International, and NRA any/any rifles is my little swiss made Correx.

$400.00 for the little bugger but its about as accurate as they come.

For Palma (old palma anyway) and NRA service rifle I use a combination of scales and qualified/calibrated weights. I set them to where the client wants, and then verify with the dead hang weights to ensure the rifle is legal for that class. Nothing is more heart breaking than to see a guy/gal win and then get DQ'd cause the trigger was light.

Last, for general purpose stuff I use the electronic gauge that Lyman makes.

Hope this helped.

I use a Wagner force gauge.
I got it in minty condition for 5 cents on the dollar off ebay.

It it were called a "trigger pull gauge", that would never have happened.
