I'm looking to buy my first .308 bolt gun. I currently only have a Remington 700 BDL 7mm magnum that kicks hard and isn't accurate. Other guns are shorter range AR's (.223, .300 AAC, .50 Beowulf).
I reload if that matters.
Looking for a .308 bolt gun that I can shoot at the outdoor range. Mostly 100-300 yards. But they do open the 600 and 1000 yard range occasionally that might be fun to try out.
I'd like a threaded barrel to fit an AAC 7.62SDN-6 suppressor too.
I don't want to spend a ton of money- so a factory gun over something custom. Would like to stay around $500 for the gun, and then $200-300 for a scope.
Remington 700 something? Savage? What should I look at?
